I made New Year's felt balls with a fiery cockerel in three types. There just wasn't enough time for the fourth one. But he is 🙂 This MK contains all the subtleties of creating such decorations for the Christmas tree.

I warn you in advance, I did not publish the templates (patterns) in the public domain. But I will send them for free to everyone who wants to leave at least 3 comments on any pages of my site (preferably where there are the fewest comments 🙂). So you can thank me for my work.

For work you will need:

felt of medium hardness 4 colors;
colored pencils in the color of felt;
template printer;
embroidery threads with a sharp needle;
pins;
sharp scissors - for small details it is better to use manicure in general;
sintepuh for stuffing;
glue "Moment Crystal";
toothpick and paper napkins - just in case.

How to make from felt:

We print the template. The pattern is specially given in Word format so that the dimensions of the patterns are preserved regardless of the settings of your printer. The details are very small. Therefore, it is highly undesirable to reduce the size.
Cut out the details. Please note that a large part (a ball with a pimpochka suspension) must be cut out carefully, and small parts can simply be cut in a circle. In the future, apply the circle of detail to the felt and cut along the lines already with it.
Depending on the available shades of felt, we choose pencils and plan color combinations - we color the picture. I decided to make a cockerel on a gentle blue background from red, orange and yellow felt flowers.
Cut out pieces of felt. Try to be very careful, as the felt in small pieces can be deformed, and small and long parts can tear or crumble at the edges.
We lay out the cut out parts on one half of the ball to determine their location and correspondence to each other. For example, if the neck frills are not aligned with the notches of the body, it is better to cut out the details again. Otherwise, the work will not be accurate.
Now we remove the parts one by one, lubricate the back with glue with a toothpick, and return the ball back to the felt, press it. There should be enough glue to glue the part well along the entire perimeter, but at the same time, excess glue should not stain the background.
When all the details are glued, we start embroidering. Sew on a bead-eye. With a thread of a different tone, we embroider the middle of the beak, wing feathers and legs. We fill the free space with white snowflakes from large and small crosses located on top of each other.
Now we put the two details of the New Year's ball together with the wrong sides inward. With an embroidery thread of a contrasting color, we first connect with straight stitches in the area of \u200b\u200bthe suspension. We sew the perimeter of the ball with a manual seam over the edge. Try to make punctures with a needle at the same distance from each other and from the circumference. I didn’t get quite even distances, but it doesn’t catch my eye.
Do not forget to stuff the toy with sintepuh. Try to distribute the stuffing evenly and not too tightly so that the surface of the ball becomes convex, but not deformed.
On the last stitches, we do not cut the thread, but bring it to the middle of the pimpochka (sorry, I don’t know what this thing is called) and make a suspension. We hide the extra tail from the inside.

Now you need to sew sequins with beads. On pink sectors, sequins and beads should be located in the middle of the wedge. On burgundy - in the upper and lower parts of the sector. For strength, all decorative details must be sewn with one thread, without cutting it.

First, pull the thread from the wrong side to the front at the point where the sequin will be. Then put the sequin on the thread with the right side out, then the bead. Pass the thread through the same sequin again and through the felt. For reliability, you can make two stitches for one pair of sequined beads. Then, without tearing off the thread, sew the remaining decorative elements.

Now sew the remaining opening of the toy. When about 3 centimeters remain until the end of the seam, turn the toy right side out and stuff it with padding polyester.

To make a toy you will need:

Felt blue and blue;

First we have to draw a template on a piece of paper. The size of the future toy depends on the size of the template.

We draw the body, legs and head of the horse together in one piece. We draw a tail and a mane. Separately, we will draw decorations for the horse.

Now let's cut each piece separately.

We circle the main part on blue felt with a pen or felt-tip pen. The part is cut out in two copies. Cut out the mane and tail from blue felt in a single copy. We will also cut out the decoration for the neck, and also cut out the decoration for the legs. For such a toy, you can use any colors, the main thing is that they combine with each other and harmonize well with other Christmas tree decorations.

We add two parts of the body. We begin to sew them from the bottom of the back leg. Sew the legs up and insert the tail between the two parts. We continue to sew. So we sewed the tail. Let's move on to sewing the back.

We sew to the neck and place a mane between the two parts of the body. Next, we continue to sew, while we will sew a mane. Then we sew the part to the end, while filling the part with padding polyester, but not too tightly.

New Year's gnomes make the interior more festive and cozier. In this master class, we will sew a beautiful and kind gnome from felt. Such a gnome is sewn quickly and consists of only two parts: a body and a hat.

To sew a gnome we need:

Felt red, peach and gray;
Threads;

White yarn;

We first draw a pattern of the future gnome on a piece of paper. It can be increased. Then the toy will be big. Cut out the drawn parts from paper.

We transfer the details to the felt. Since a simple pencil on the felt is not visible, you can translate the details with a pen. Or you can simply attach them to the felt and cut along the contour. For the gnome, you can use any color of felt. In this master class, the gnome will be gray-red.

Cut out the body of the gnome and the bottom from the gray felt.

And cut out the rest of the red felt. This is a hat.

On the lower part of the body of the gnome we will embroider snowflakes, since the gnome is New Year's.

We sew the gnome's body, leaving the bottom unsewn. Stitches should be done at approximately the same distance.

We fill the part with synthetic winterizer and apply the bottom. We sew it on and cut off the thread, making a knot.

Now we will make a beard from white yarn. We will cut the yarn about 5 cm long. And in the middle we will lay a thread. That is, as if hanging yarn on a thread. Lightly pull and tie a knot. With the same thread we sew a beard to the upper body of the gnome. Trim the beard with scissors. Its length should reach the end of the body.

Cut out a circle of peach-colored felt with a diameter of about one and a half centimeters.

We sew it along the edge.

And we will pull it off, stuffing it with synthetic winterizer. So we sewed the nose. Let's move the yarn-beard in the middle and sew the spout to this place.

It remains to sew a hat. It stitches very easily. But first we will decorate it a little.

We also embroider a snowflake in the middle. So the hat will be in perfect harmony with the clothes of the gnome.

And now on top and where the strings are, cut a little, as if making a fringe. Enough to make two cuts.

Fold the piece in half and sew the hat at the back.

Felt crafts are soft and pleasant to the touch, this material is easy and interesting to work with. Details can be sewn on a typewriter, by hand or glued.

Before starting work, prepare:

patches of multi-colored felt;
material that will be used as a filler;
scissors;

beads;

cardboard;
narrow ribbons for loops.

To make such cute New Year's toys, you will need to prepare patterns from paper or cardboard, outline the details on them, cut them out and carefully sew them, as in the photo.

As a filler, you can use unnecessary flaps of fabric or foam rubber. Do not forget to sew loops of narrow ribbons to the toys so that they can be easily hooked.

The bear is sewn, as in the previous version - according to the pattern. Knit a scarf for him separately with a crochet or knitting needles. Embroider a muzzle with threads and sew sequins on the back that will resemble snowflakes.

Toys in the form of New Year's sweets are real cuties! Please note that in this case, the decoration elements are not sewn on, but glued.

To sew an asterisk out of felt, cut out an even number of identical parts, sew them in pairs with a hem seam (photo above), leaving one edge. Fill with filler and sew up completely. Decorate Christmas toys with beads.

You can also make crafts without volume and without filler, as in the photo. In this case, the two layers of material can simply be glued or sewn together.

A master class on making a bell is clear even to a child. A toy is made from several layers of felt, cut into strips of 1 cm, the cut is not made completely, a strip of fabric should remain on top, which is attached to a loop-lace. Such a simple craft will do.

The technique for making mittens is similar to making hearts, smaller details are fixed on the main canvas, it looks like a collage.

You will have to work hard with the cones. Cut out some flowers from brown and pistachio flowers. They should go like a pyramid, i.e. cut different sizes: bigger and smaller. String "flowers" on the thread with a pyramid, alternating colors. Make ponytails out of brown felt.

attach the sample to tissue paper and cut out 16 parts from it. Do not forget to leave one centimeter, taking into account further gluing;
glue the finished segments in two, then connect all the pairs together, but leave one seam;
turn the shell inside out and seal the last seam;
cut two rectangular strips from cardboard and use it to fasten the base. Then, attach two strong thick threads to them, which will allow you to hold the ball when it is heated;
cut the circle to the size of the dome and glue on top to fill in the gaps that were left during gluing;
heat the blowtorch and use it to spread the ball;
take the finished dome by the strings and make a fire under it.

When the air warms up in the balloon, it is ready to launch.
